Schools and Community Services First!

End the Corporate Property Tax Loophole!

Join the League of Women Voters of California in supporting the California Schools and Local Communities Funding Act of 2018 That will restore over $11 billion per year to California's schools, community colleges, health clinics and other vital local services.

The initiative will: Close the Corporate Property Tax Loophole in Proposition 13 Continue to guarantee protections for homeowners, residential renters, agricultural land, and small businesses

Help gather signatures to place this measure on the November ballot.

Get Us Moving

San Mateo County is a great place to live, but traffic is worse than it has ever been. Solutions are available, but the Get Us Moving Stakeholder Advisory Group needs your help to prioritize and develop a plan that gets San Mateo County moving.

San Mateo County residents were invited to provide input on plans for new local transportation and funding projects to be proposed in 2018.
